THE UMMPH! IN TEA

It is said that Tea is the most popular drink in the world, next to water. Every year, an astronomical 768,500,000,000 cups of tea are consumed around the globe.
What is Tea? It is obtained by adding hot water over young tea leaves. The origin of tea dates back 5000 years. Tea has the distinction of being the most ancient beverage in the world.

It is well recognized that fine tea, like fine wine, is highly influenced in its character, flavour and bouquet by environmental factors such as climate, soil and altitude. Tea requires plenty of sunshine and ample rain for growth, while the relative coolness of tropical highland areas produces aromatic, flavoursome teas.

The first highland tea plantation in Malaysia was started in 1929 by Boh Plantations in Cameron Highlands, the ideal climate for producing teas of exceptional quality.

I start my day with almost 2 mugs of tea and no other drink can kick start my day. So all you coffee drinkers including my wife, eat your heart out, we tea drinkers are the Ummph people.

hmm... Uncle, I think I'll have to go a bit not with your idea...

For me, the kick start of the day should be the thickest cup of no sugar espresso which is the best wakening drink... for me at least... =D

And Tea on the other side is the most smoothening beverage that is mostly suitable for the occation of a relaxing moment...

Thomas, your comment is very valid. As they say one man's drink is another man's poison - As the Chinese say <"Yam Cha">
